AKA Weston Foster

Wez (AKA Weston Foster), has been singing, writing, producing and DJ'ing within the music industry for the past 44 years, starting with the hit 80’s jazz funk band Second Image and now with Heatwave.

After leaving Second Image in the late 80's, Wez continued to work tirelessly within the music industry, sharing the stage (and worked with) many distinguished artists such as Womack & Womack, Jimmy Ruffin, MAZE (ft. Frankie Beverly), Rod Temerton, Tina Arena, Heather Small, Matt Bianco, Joey Negro, Taka Boom, Joe Sample, Heatwave (Current Singer) & many, many more.

He is also Music Producer & vocalist for the hit Cuban dance show: Ballet Revolucion. Back on the road, end of 2025.

In April 2011, Wez was invited to sing (with Second Image) at the 02 Theatre in London, as part of the 30 YEAR CELEBRATION OF BRIT FUNK. This sold out concert was a 'must attend' event for the soul family placing Wez alongside other great British soul / funk acts such as Incognito, Imagination, Beggar & Co, Light Of The World, Junior Giscombe, David Joseph and Central Line.

As an accomplished singer / songwriter / producer and with the resurgence of the British ‘Soul' & 'Jazz Funk’ scene, Wez felt the time was right to do his own thing. His 1st release (a slick cover of Howard Johnson's Keepin’ Love New) hit the No3 spot in the UK Soul Chart. Wez is ready to release his 2nd single "There's No Better", followed by his debut album "Something In The Light" later in 2025.
